Population Briefs, the Population Council's research newsletter, is published three times a year. Findings summarized in the newsletter are drawn from peer-reviewed, published research. Other series and briefs
The Population Council produces series and briefs that present data on the situation of adolescent girls and boys and young women and provide background on Council research and programs on youth/transitions to adulthood.
In addition to program briefs and OR summaries, the Council's recently completed FRONTIERS program has produced a series of documents that synthesize the results from ten years of operations research and lessons learned into eight major legacy themes.

Impact
The href in the tab need to be identical to the ID of the "page" div it corresponds to. I used IDs starting with a "p_" to avoid potential conflicts with simlarily names section IDs but it is not mendatory to do so as long as the ID is unique.
What's New
Breakthrough in microbicide research: A gel tested by CAPRISA in South Africa indicates that it is safe and effective in reducing the risk of HIV and herpes infections among women participants; confirmatory research is needed. (more) Naomi Rutenberg, Population Council vice president and director of the HIV and AIDS program, discussed the results of the CAPRISA study on PRI's "The Takeaway." (offsite link)
Mahidol University has awarded Council president Peter J. Donaldson an honorary doctorate in demography in recognition of the significant role he has played in the development of population and social science research in Thailand. (more)

The Population Council celebrates five decades of American women’s access to the birth control pill. The Council continues to work toward improving reproductive health for all through research and testing of an array of reversible contraceptive methods for both men and women. (more)
